Solid Perfume and Wardrobe Balm Manufacturer

Two products from one base: a balm that goes on skin, and a puck that sits in a drawer. Both are alcohol-free, both ship without liquid restrictions, and both carry a scent at far higher concentration than the equivalent spray.

Solid Perfume & Wardrobe Balm

The format that solved the shipping problem.

Solid fragrance exists for two reasons and both are practical. It ships as a solid, so it is not a liquid for air freight or for most postal rules. And it releases slowly from a warm surface, which makes it the natural format for a drawer, a wardrobe or a bag rather than a room.

The base is a balance of wax, butter and oil. Too hard and nothing releases until the surface warms; too soft and it greases the packaging and loses shape in transit. We set the ratio against the destination climate, because a puck that behaves in Hangzhou in October will slump in a Dubai warehouse in July.

  • Formats: flat puck tin, twist-up stick, wardrobe disc, hanging sachet block

  • Climatic variants: standard, hot-climate, and travel-stable base
  • Packaging: tin, twist tube, moulded pulp tray, printed sleeve or rigid box

Why Brands Choose Us

Why the base is the whole product here.

A solid fragrance has one ingredient doing all the work — the base. It holds the oil, sets the release rate, and decides whether the puck survives a container in July.

01

Climate decides the formula

Melting point is specified against the destination, not the factory. We produce a standard base and a hot-climate variant, and state the storage range so a distributor can plan rather than discover.

02

Release rate is set, not hoped for

A puck meant for a wardrobe should last months; a balm meant for skin should open within a minute. The same oil behaves completely differently at those two release rates, so the accord is evaluated in the final format.

03

Alcohol-free simplifies export

No alcohol means no liquid classification for most routes, which cuts freight cost and removes a category of paperwork — the main reason brands add a solid to an existing spray line.

04

Surface finish is a retail signal

The visible face of the balm is the product. We control pour temperature and cooling so the surface is smooth and colour is even, because a cloudy or cracked puck reads as old stock on a shelf.

Customisation

What you can change.

The format and the base can be specified independently, which is what allows a wardrobe line and a skin line to share one production run.

Format

Flat tin, twist-up stick, wardrobe disc or a hanging block for rails and hooks — each with its own fill weight and release behaviour.

Base & melt point

Beeswax or vegan candelilla, with a standard or hot-climate melt point and a stated storage range for the destination market.

Scent & load

8–20% fragrance load, with the accord tuned in the finished base. Resins and woods hold well in wax; citrus needs a fixative or it disappears within weeks.

Colour & packaging

Natural, tinted or matched to a brand colour, in tins, tubes or a moulded pulp tray inside a printed sleeve or rigid box.

Order Terms

What an order looks like.

The two decisions that affect cost here are fill weight and packaging; everything else is a standard option.

FAQ

Solid fragrance questions buyers ask.

That is what the hot-climate base is for. We set melt point against the destination and state the storage range, so a distributor can decide where the stock sits rather than finding out from a returned pallet.

It depends on fill weight, load and airflow. A wardrobe disc is typically designed for two to three months of use; we quote a figure for the specific configuration rather than a general claim.

Yes, but the accord is tuned twice. A scent that opens well on skin can be cloying in a closed drawer, so the two versions are sampled separately from the same oil.

With a candelilla and plant-butter base, yes. Beeswax is the standard base and it is not vegan, so the choice is made before the formula is written, not after.

Yes — a stamped aluminium or paper refill puck for the same tin. It lowers the cost of the second purchase and keeps the packaging out of the waste stream, which increasingly matters to EU retail buyers.
